The Simpsons is easily my favourite show in the entire world. Sorry Futurama, but...

The first two seasons were different; but good in their own way. Seasons 3-7 is really where the show started to shine. Easily the best seasons.

Season 8 showed signs that the show was tired, and it seemed to be going downhill. Season 9 is, surprisingly, a lot better in my opinion.

Season 8 might of been the origin of bad characterisation, but Season 10 is where it really started to suck. And I mean really.
Season 11 is a lot worse. In fact, it might just be the worst season ever created. Non-sensical plots, immature childish humour were all contributing factors to this.

Season 12 was a little better, and Season 13 was extremely uneven; it had some terrible episodes, and some good ones.

Season 14 is pretty much where the show decided to pull itself together. Like Season 13, it's extremely uneven, but this time, when they're good, they're really good. But, same goes for the bad ones.

Season 15 is easily the best season since Season 9. Easily. It's humour was extremely clever, and with the exception of Season 16, I don't think the animation's ever looked better.

Season 16 is pretty much the same as 14.
Season 17 has some bad episodes, but it has some briliant episodes. More brilliant ones then bad ones. An extremely underrated season.

Season 18 is my personal least favourite season. It just has no humour, whatsoever.
Season 19, I must say, is looking good.

i love the simpsons but i just feel that futurama has that little bit extra quality. i also feel that the plots are a lot better in futurama than in the simpsons.

I love both Simpsons and Futurama, they each have their own uniqueness to it.
